The Gulf Coast Stamp Club meets the first Saturday of each month at the St. Martin Library, 15004 LeMoyne Blvd., St. Martin community. Doors are open at 2:30 PM for a meet and greet and the meeting starts at 2:45 PM. Visitors and prospective members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Membership is open to anyone interested in any aspect of stamp collecting. The club is Local Chapter #932 of the American Philatelic Society. We are a growing and progressive club with collectors of varying interests. Our membership includes beginners to advanced specialists. Membership fees are $10.00 per year for individuals and families. A junior membership is available free to those between the ages of ten and eighteen.
The monthly meeting consists of members and visitors enjoying a short visit with each other beginning around 2:30 PM. At this time the Club makes available an American Philatelic Society sales circuit for members and visitors to inspect and purchase items. Members frequently bring material for trade to the meetings. This is followed by a short business meeting.
The Gulf Coast Stamp Club has sponsored an annual stamp show called GULFPEX since its inception in 1973.
