About GCSC:
The Gulf Coast Stamp Club meets the first Saturday of each month. Place to be announced. The General Club meeting is at 1:30 pm. A GCSC Board meeting if scheduled will be at 1 pm. Visitors and prospective members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Membership is open to anyone interested in any aspect of stamp collecting. The club is Local Chapter #082330 of the American Philatelic Society and a member of the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs. We are a growing and progressive club with collectors of varying interests. Our membership includes beginners to advanced specialists. Membership fees are $10.00 per year for individuals and families. A junior membership is available free to those between the ages of ten and eighteen.
The monthly meeting consists of members and visitors enjoying a short visit with each other beginning around 1:30 pm. At this time the Club makes available an American Philatelic Society sales circuit for members and visitors to inspect and purchase items. Members frequently bring material for trade to the meetings. This is followed by a short business meeting.
The Gulf Coast Stamp Club has sponsored an annual stamp show called GULFPEX since its inception in 1973.

Letter From The President
The Gulf Coast Stamp Club was formed in or about 1973. We now have approximately 45 members and we are actively seeking to expand our membership. Our Monthly meetings (first Saturday of each month, at 1:30 pm) are open to visitors, whether or not they already identify as stamp collectors, and whether or not they know a pre-cancel from a perfin.
We encourage youth membership. We have special programs for young collectors and those that might become collectors. Stamps are a wonderful educational and organizational skills tool.
I want to congratulate our three long time members who were recently awarded Life-Time membership in GCSC. They are John Wright of Ocean Springs, Maryann Graczyk of Biloxi, and Bob Whitaker of Kiln. Thanks to each of you for years of active membership and your contributions to our club.
GCSC is doubling down on our efforts to make our meetings less about club business, and more about stamps and entertainment. We have the APS stamp “circuits” of U.S. and foreign stamps for browsing and sale at each meeting. Our meetings feature a collector presentation on some interesting philatelic (stamp related) topic.
Come give us a look!
Sincerely,
President GCSC
